Animation and physical activity monitor course with people with disabilities + sociocultural monitor-analysis (double degree with 5 ECTS credits)

One of the great challenges of societies today is to enable intervention strategies that contribute to physical activity in order to prevent dependence situations that can be caused by physical or biological factors but which, in general, have to do with psycho-affective issues of people. With this course the student will learn the necessary knowledge to carry out both animation activities and physical activity exercises with people with disabilities with the objective of guaranteeing their well -being and improving their quality of life. The Spanish Fitness Federation accredits only the contents referring to physical activity, any mention to technical-tactical aspects is outside its competences and accreditation.

- Know the essential characteristics and theories about disability, to more easily understand this sector. - Develop a program of socio -educational animation activities for people with disabilities that guarantees your well -being and improve your quality of life. - Facilitate to the student the tools to achieve an effective and effective development of the animation programs of people with disabilities. - Participate in the design of socio-cultural activities, the campaigns to promote activities, the coordination of work and supervision of the activities carried out. - Acquire all knowledge, procedures and attitudes to work as a sociocultural monitor-aimer.

This course is aimed for all those who want to guide their future work towards the function of an animation and physical activity monitor with people with disabilities. Thus, as for all those who want to expand their professional knowledge in this area.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
