Resumen
With the objective of complying with international regulations and efficiently fighting with the money laundering and the financing of terrorism, Spain promulgated Law 10/2010, of April 28, on the prevention of the money laundering and the financing of terrorism. Together with the above, and with the objective of guaranteeing compliance, the state authorities have the support of the private sector. For this reason, certain actors are obliged by Law 10/2010 to obtain the required information by their potential clients and thus guarantee the integrity of the financial system, avoiding the possible repercussions towards other sectors.
