The objective of the module is to acquire the basis of knowledge for the design and calculation of the HVAC energy systems (Heat Ventilation and Air conditioned) and ACS (sanitary hot water) in the building. The specific objectives would be: to know the parts of a heating and cooling system, their design and calculation of the heat and cold production units and transport systems to the terminal units. Know how to calculate and dimension the aerothermal and geothermal heat pump systems considered as the most efficient and promising for the decarbonization of the energy consumption sector in buildings. Know the design criteria for ventilation systems as well as the normative demands for residential buildings and the tertiary sector know the design and dimensioning criteria of ACS systems
