Summary
Thanks to this course in foundations in human and dietary nutrition you will obtain specialized training in the fundamental bases of human nutrition and dietary sciences, as well as what each consist of. The ability to apply nutrition knowledge based on evidence, and food content, as well as their classification in food composition tables will be acquired. Students will learn the biochemistry that includes the world of nutrition, as well as its essential nutrients and how they are classified according to their characteristics. On the other hand, we will expand the knowledge of nutrigenetics and nutrigenomics, and how it relates to food to gene expression.
