He develops his professional activity in the health sector, acting as a dependent worker, in veterinary centers (veterinary offices, clinics and hospitals), in the areas of sales, reception and hospitalization, clinical analysis laboratory, consultation, operating room and X-ray room, in associations, organizations or institutions for animal protection and welfare. You can also work in public teaching and research organizations or institutions: veterinary faculties, animal facilities at research centers and hospitals, among others.

What it prepares you for

This course will equip the student with the necessary knowledge to attend to the hospitalization of animals, collaborating with the doctor. This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the Training Module MF1589_3 Animal Hospitalization, certifying that they have passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which they will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism. through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
