- Classify the parts that make up a set based on their location in the stage space, their form and their function. - Identify constructions of prop elements based on the materials and construction techniques used. - Determine prop assembly plans, adjusting a work plan to pre-established technical, artistic and production requirements. - Apply the conventions and techniques of graphic representation of stage props (symbology, conventions, among others) to the drawing of prop implementation plans, sketches of pieces, prop gadgets and exploded views of decorative elements, documenting the assembly of props. - Apply operational risk prevention procedures related to worker safety. - Apply coordination and supervision techniques for the assembly and disassembly of scenic elements, equipment and materials of the stage props of a live show, according to the requirements established in technical prop projects. - Apply techniques and planning procedures for maintenance tasks of props, fabrics and equipment and prop installations, guaranteeing their condition and safety. - Apply warehouse management techniques and procedures for props, fabrics, equipment, tools and consumables of props, according to the criteria established by production and according to the physical characteristics of the elements.
He develops his professional activity in large, medium and small companies dedicated to live performances in all types of shows and events, with the presence of a live audience, under the direction of higher level technicians or in collaboration with graduates of the same level. Work in entertainment venues as an employee or as a freelancer in touring companies or service companies.
This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Training Module MF1719_3 Planning and Management of Props in the Exploitation of the Scenographic Project for Live Show in Changing Operating Conditions, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
