What it prepares you for

This Wind Instrument Disassembly and Preparation course trains you to thoroughly disassemble and clean the mechanisms of these instruments, as well as to maintain and replace specific corks. You will learn techniques for cleaning and hydrating bodies made of wood and synthetic materials, as well as basic polishing of metal bodies. You will also acquire skills to place silencers and regulation elements on mechanisms. This course is complementary and does not qualify for professional practice. This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Training Module MF2108_2 Disassembly and preparation of wind instruments, certifying that you have passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
