Objectives

- Apply the most common prevention systems established and the different emergency plans, identifying and applying the measures and modes of action and coordination that ensure the safety of the passenger, the crew and the train - Apply the emergency protocol in case of detection of smoke, fire on board, failure in the door closing system or derailment, according to the standards and action plans of the main companies - Apply the procedures for the evacuation of the passenger based on an evacuation order and instructions received, according to the usual plans of different railway companies for each series of train - Apply the procedure of action in case of detection of smoke or fire on board, according to the standards and plans of different companies - Apply the basic techniques for the control of panic situations produced during the evacuation of a passenger train - Identify and apply the measures for prevention and action of occupational risks in railway emergency situations that must be adopted by the auxiliary crew of passenger trains.

Content

Career opportunities

He carries out his activity on behalf of others, in the on-board service department on national, international and long- and medium-distance passenger transport commercial trains, as well as on tourist or charter trains hired by organizations or individuals for travel. He/she performs his/her tasks in functional dependence of the person in charge of the passenger service department, if there is one, or of the person in charge of the means of transport and in coordination with the rest of the crew members.

What it prepares you for

This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Training Module MF2196_2 Prevention and Assistance to Passengers in Railway Emergencies, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Communities. Autonomous, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
