Professionals who carry out their work in health services must successfully work in their relationship with patients to achieve the therapeutic objectives they pursue and increase their quality of life. In recent years we have witnessed impassively an increasingly pronounced distancing between health professionals and their respective patients, resulting in greater general dissatisfaction and a decrease in the quality of care and attention, and which responds largely to poor training in the development of social and communication skills and abilities, essential for establishing effective and successful communications. With this course on “Social and communication skills in health professionals” we will address from this perspective the necessary tools so that these professionals can successfully carry out their own tasks, differentiating themselves from other professionals, guaranteeing the acquisition of knowledge, skills and abilities to do so.
