Objectives

- Develop the ice cream production processes, applying the techniques inherent to each process. - Design and make decorations for ice cream products and set up displays applying appropriate graphic and decoration techniques. - Carry out finishing and decoration operations on ice cream products in accordance with their definition, state or, where applicable, type of service, to respond to optimal marketing. - Practice possible variations in ice cream preparations, testing modifications in terms of the shape and cut of the goods, decoration motifs, alternative ingredients, combination of flavors and finishing methods.

Career opportunities

He carries out his professional activity in both large, medium and small companies, mainly in the hospitality sector, although he can also work on his own in small establishments in the restaurant subsector. It also carries out its activity in the food trade sector in those establishments that produce and sell pastry and confectionery products.

What it prepares you for

This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF1098 Preparation and Presentation of Ice Cream, certifying having passed the different Competence Units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competences acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
