Extension of extrahospital delivery (university degree + 4 ECTS credits)

When training has been completed, students will have knowledge about all aspects of childbirth, as well as the different methodologies that it encompasses, as well as the care after childbirth for both the mother and the newborn. It is essential to give that first health education around the cardiopulmonary resuscitation of the pregnant woman to be able to solve the possible complications that could arise.

The professional outputs of this course in extrahospitable birth assistance are specialization within the area of nursing, midwife, medical, for childbirth preparation, sanitary trainer, health professional in the field of hospital and extrahospital medical emergencies such as nursing assistants, transport technicians, etc.

With this course in extrahospitable birth assistance you will have the possibility of acquiring knowledge for adequate attention to extrahospital delivery and the main obstetric emergencies, the possible situations that can be referred when a delivery and the route of sanitary action to follow, as well as knowing the complications that can occur, the RCP for the pregnant woman and the attention to the newborn.

This course is aimed exclusively at health personnel according to Law 44/2003, of November 21, on the ordination of health professions.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
