Labor ergonomics and quality of life (university degree + 8 ECTS credits)

The course in labor ergonomics and quality of life is in full development and has been designed to provide participants with solid knowledge about the fundamental principles and concepts of ergonomics applied to the workplace. The course comprehensively addresses the different aspects related to environmental conditions in jobs, physical and mental load, and their ergonomic design. Throughout the course, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the environmental conditions that influence the quality of life and well -being of workers, as well as on the tools and methods of evaluation of the physical and mental load of work

- Understand the basic concepts of ergonomics and their relationship with the quality of life at work. - Identify environmental conditions in jobs, including CAI control and temperature. - Analyze visual factors that influence labor ergonomics and apply strategies for improvement. - Evaluate the impact of noise on the work environment and propose adequate control measures. - Ergonomically design the jobs, considering the adaptation to the needs of the workers. - Apply the principles of ergonomics in design promoting visual health and work performance.

Thanks to this course in labor ergonomics and quality of life, they can perform as health and well -being consultants in companies, when completing the course in labor ergonomics, you will be prepared to perform as a consultant or advisor in labor ergonomics, collaborating in the identification and solution of ergonomic problems in companies and institutions.

The course in labor ergonomics and quality of life prepares you to become a professional trained to identify and address ergonomic problems in workplaces. Through the different modules, you will acquire the necessary skills to evaluate the environmental conditions, both physical and visual, and apply ergonomic design strategies that promote the well -being of workers.

This course is aimed especially at health, psychologists and technicians in occupational risk prevention. Although it is a degree within the teachings of the university that does not enable for professional practice, so according to article 37.7 of Roy Own teachings that do not require prior university degree for access to them, the purpose of them is the extension and update of knowledge, competences and training or professional skills that contribute to a better labor insertion of citizens and citizens without university degree, so it will be open to every person without access university degrees of access that has an interest in carrying it out.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
