Summary

Contrary to what is usually thought, leisure is not a luxury but a right of all citizens. The realization of creative leisure and free time activities suggests the imagination and contributes to personal growth. In spite of this and for many years, the school has focused almost exclusively on the teaching of other curricular areas. Leisure education should be introduced in daily practice, therefore, this course wants to offer teachers and teachers the fundamental technical and procedural tools to design and carry out socio -educational intervention projects in this area. Through this course of free time monitors, our students can also acquire the necessary competences to organize, energize and evaluate children's and youth -educational time activities, explicitly affecting education in values and attending to the basic measures of safety and risk prevention.

Goals

Expand your formation with this leisure and free time and achieve the following objectives: - Adapt the project to the current implications that free time has, analyzing diversity, social and cultural changes to establish the intervention context. - Establish the transmission and generation of values in educational time as a socializing and social participation tool for action within the framework of the project. - Determine the reference frameworks that place the intervention in the context of acting to characterize the educational time project. - Organize children's and youthful educational time activities in a participatory manner considering the action framework to adjust to it. - Develop free -time educational activities as planned to ensure compliance with the objectives. - Promote healthy lifestyle habits reflecting them in their work to promote changes in the lives of participating people. - Identify the aspects that characterize child and youth development applicable to free time to adapt the activities to the people participating in them. - Choose contents and intervention strategies based on the diversity of people and groups. - Apply group techniques in free time for childhood and youth activities. - Apply animation, expression and creativity techniques by combining them with each other, based on a center of interest or animation axis, aimed at the organization of activities. - Apply animation, expression and creativity techniques in the development of free time activities. - Characterize and organize the game by identifying the aspects that define their pedagogy and distinguish it from other modes of intervention. - Use the natural environment and experience as an educational resource in free time activities. - Establish elementary security conditions for the development of activities in free time. - Determine care techniques in case of emergency attending to the degree of responsibility that corresponds to the monitor. - Provide different tools for the development of leisure and free time activities: socio -cultural, sports and outdoor activities attending to the environment in which they are projected, urban and in nature. - Know the methodology that underlies the planning and application of the different activities to be programmed, especially working the definition of specific objectives, the coordination and organization of work and the supervision of activities. - Know the functions and main characteristics that define the profile of the leisure and free time monitor and recognize the influence of leisure and free time activities in the educational field.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
