The waste we produce is increasingly numerous, and therefore the security and awareness of the production, management, control and treatment of them is essential to respect the environment and especially the quality of life of people. Waste management, and above all, hazardous waste management is not an easy task and a multitude of factors must be taken into account to comply with the legislation that regulates this type of activities. This Master will contribute to the student the necessary knowledge to manage and classify waste, the action based on current legislation, its manipulation for greater environmental safety, that is, it will offer the necessary training to be able to manage waste and landfills in an integral way.

- Introduce into the scope of solid waste - Deepen the legal and environmental management on waste - Know domestic, agricultural, livestock, industrial, special and radioactive waste - distinguish the different treatment of wastewater and landfills - Coordinate waste treatment - Perform basic operations for the characterization of waste and dispose of the collection means according to the criteria of reduction in origin, Reuse, recycling, valorization and deposit, adapting to current legislation and within the safety standards. - Perform the basic operations of collection and transport of urban or municipal waste according to the criteria of maximum effectiveness, with less interruption of activities in public roads and following safety standards. - Perform the recovery and recycling operations of urban or municipal waste, as well as those of valorization and discharge following the safety standards. - Know the laws and norms in terms of occupational risk prevention based on the Occupational Risk Prevention Law. - Analyze the different action plans, prevention and first aid techniques that favor or help overcome different risk situations.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
