Work nursing studies the health of individuals derived from their relationship with the work environment, to increase physical, mental and social well -being. To do this, both the characteristics of the worker and those of his job or the socio-labor environment in which it is carried out must be taken into account. Currently, the role played by work in entities such as mutuals of accidents at work has special relevance. Through this master's degree in Nursing and Occupational Health, the competences and knowledge necessary to specialize in work nursing are offered to the student, including from the worker's health promotion, the prevention of diseases and occupational accidents or the assistance of the injured worker.

- Explain and understand the regulatory framework in labor health and safety. - Define the health and safety system in the company, in terms of collective protection and individual protection. - Know first aid, its general elements and principles, as well as the basic life support. - Learn the key concepts about industrial hygiene. - introduce the general aspects of applied psychosociology and disciplines related to it. - Define ergonomics and know your relationship with applied psychosociology. - List the actions to be followed for health promotion in workplaces.

At the end of the Master of Nursing and Occupational Health you will have acquired the professional competences that will increase your job opportunities in the following sectors: Nursing, Health, Health, Mutuals and Societies for Prevention, Prevention of Occupational Risk, Occupational Health and Safety, Applied Psychosociology, Labor and Nursing Hygiene of Work.

With the Master of Nursing and Occupational Health you will have the appropriate knowledge to work in the Administration, entities specialized in preventive actions or in prevention training centers. To do this, a review of the main concepts of mutuals and prevention societies and their main functions will be made, analyzing the fundamental role that nursing plays in the workplace.

The present Master in Nursing and Occupational Health is aimed at all nursing graduates who want to expand their knowledge in work or work nursing, to train in an increasingly demanded field in today's companies, especially in the field of mutuals and prevention societies.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
