Summary
Several studies indicate that about 20% of the human population will suffer a mental illness throughout their lives. This will make more material and human resources need in the near future to be able to deal with the needs of people with mental illnesses. Therefore and for the epidemiological and social relevance it has, it has been necessary for nursing professionals to have updated knowledge about mental health. Therefore, the Master in Psychiatric Nursing and Mental Health contemplates the various problems that you will find as a health professional. With the realization of the master in psychiatric nursing and mental health you can develop with skill the basic functions in the field of mental health. In addition, you will know in depth each of the disorders that can be found by age and the risk factors of suffering from each disease, as well as their nursing care. You will know how to face the deal with the patient and the family.
Who is it addressed to?
This Master in Psychiatric Nursing and Mental Health is aimed exclusively at diplomas or graduates in nursing according to Law 44/2003, of November 21, on the ordination of health professions.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
