MF0416_2 course sampling and essays and geotechnical and hydrogeological measurements

In the field of extractive industry, it is necessary to know the different fields of polls, within the professional area of mining. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the taking of geotechnical and hydrogeological tests and measurements.

- Analyze the prevention and safety measures regarding the actions of the manipulation of the facilities and equipment, contained in the security plans of the poll drilling companies. - Apply the security plan analyzing the measures of prevention, security and environmental protection of the company. - Describe occupational risk prevention regulations and environmental protection applicable to drilling preparation operations. - Describe the regulations for the prevention of occupational hazards and environmental protection applicable to poll drilling operations and to its completion. - Describe the regulations for prevention of occupational hazards and environmental protection applicable to sample collection operations. - Apply general environmental security and protection rules. - Define the different types of sample, relating them to the collection method, the purpose of each of them and the type and circumstances of the sampled material. - Take representative samples of soils and rocks by applying the different techniques and standards for each type. - Perform sampling in rotopercusion polls both with direct and reverse circulation and with the different fluids that can be used to pierce. - Extract continuous witness in rotation polls applying the most appropriate drilling parameters to obtain the maximum possible recovery. - Recognize the different types of geotechnical and geophysical essays that are performed in poll drilling. - Perform in situ penetration tests using the different types of penetrometers and the corresponding standards. - Perform presyometric and dilatometric tests in polls, excavation fronts and slopes, applying the corresponding standards. - Perform geophysical essays in polls, applying the corresponding standards. - Define and relate the parameters of the land related to hydrogeology and that are known through hydrogeological tests in surveys. - Apply the appropriate procedures to perform in situ permeability measures through pumping and production tests. - Apply the appropriate procedures to clean the survey and develop aquifers. - Measure the length, deviation and piezometric level of a survey, as well as the variations of the tension state of an excavation front or an embankment, describing the instruments that are used for it and the way in which the measures are made.

It develops its professional activity in the area of production of small and medium -sized companies, fundamentally private, dedicated to the realization of mining, geological, geotechnical and prospecting and gone -water research polls, as well as surveys for dissolution and leaching. You can also develop your activity in mining companies with your own survey equipment. He performs technical functions, within the framework of the objectives defined by his superiors, of which he will receive general instructions and to which he will inform.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF0416_2 training module samples and tests and measurements and hydrogeological measurements, certifying having overcome the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of professional competences acquired through work experience and non -formal training, via which you will opt for to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through of the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of extractive industry, specifically in surveys, within the professional mining area, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the taking of geotechnical and hydrogeological samples and measurements.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
