MF2046_2 course repair of jewelry elements

In the field of arts and crafts, it is necessary to know the different fields of jewelry repair, within the professional area jewelry and goldsmith. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to repair jewelry elements.

- Establish the intervention techniques applied to precious metals, interpreting technical information of the jewelry element to be repaired, organizing repair operations (preparation, adaptation, modification and/or replacement) estimating costs and times, selecting tools and useful, to ensure the viability and quality of repair of jewelry elements. - Prepare, merge and form the alloys of precious metals and welds, adjusting to the "title" or law of the alloy of the element to be repaired, carrying out the merger in crucibles, laminating, climbing and fojing to obtain ingots, sheets and metal threads, which are used in the repair of jewelry elements, complying with the regulations for prevention of occupational risk (EPIS) and environmental protection. - Prepare and/or replace the elements of jewelry, measuring and weighing the precious metal, carrying out combined operations in the jewelry workshop, handling and performing the operational maintenance of tools, tools and machinery, to preserve the aesthetics of the jewelry element and respect the customer requirements, complying with the regulations for prevention of occupational hazards and environmental protection. - Perform the union with welding of precious metal elements, selecting and adjusting torch and welding equipment and cleaning the parties to unite in the repair of jewelry elements, to ensure quality and viability, complying with the regulations for the prevention of occupational hazards (EPIS) and environmental protection.

He develops his professional activity in companies and/or jewelry workshops dedicated to jewelry repair. It works on their own, under the supervision of a hierarchical superior, or on its own.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF2046_2 repair of jewelry elements, certifying having overcome the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls The different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of arts and crafts, specifically in jewelry repair, within the professional area jewelry and goldsmiths, and all those interested in acquiring related knowledge to repair jewelry elements.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
