The Pediatric Emergency Course provides you with the knowledge and skills necessary to care for pediatric emergencies. The course is structured by different teaching units that focus on the initial and critical management of the pediatric patient, addressing topics such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, both respiratory and cardiac emergencies, care for polytraumatized patients, seizures and shock in pediatrics. What it prepares you for

The Pediatric Emergency Course prepares you to recognize, evaluate and provide efficient and safe care to children who require emergency care. You will learn to apply cardiopulmonary resuscitation protocols in pediatrics, adequately manage respiratory and cardiac emergencies, care for multiple traumatized children, address seizures and convulsive states, as well as manage shock situations in pediatrics.

This course is aimed exclusively at healthcare personnel according to Law 44/2003, of November 21, on the regulation of healthcare professions.

Among the material delivered in this course is attached a document called the Student Guide where a schedule of telephone tutorials appears and an e-mail address where you can send your queries, doubts and exercises. You will also receive the teaching materials included in the course so that you can consult them at any time and keep them once the course is finished. The methodology to follow is to advance along the online learning itinerary, which has a series of topics and exercises. For evaluation, the student must complete all the exercises proposed in the course. The qualification will be sent to the student by mail once it has been verified that he or she has completed the learning itinerary satisfactorily.
