- Provide a sufficiently broad, adequate and renewed set of knowledge, above all useful, to improve competence and application in the practical practice of the cosmetics and/or skin care professional. - Facilitate basic and updated training on cosmetic products on body treatments so that they acquire the necessary criteria to provide adjusted and adequate care and advice, based on knowledge of the composition and function of the cosmetic and the individual characteristics of the consumer. - Update knowledge about the various pharmacotechnical operations, pharmaceutical forms and excipients for body treatments. - Become aware of the need to keep the body constantly hydrated, especially in risk groups, which include the elderly, infants, children, pregnant women and the sick, in order to advise the client, patient or citizen in the most timely and appropriate manner. - Know the origins, evolution and current applications of Cosmetology and Dermopharmacy. - Control products and materials, billing and documentation in pharmacy establishments and services. - Assist in the preparation of master formulas, official, dietary and cosmetic preparations, under the supervision of the physician. - Collaborate in health promotion, protection, disease prevention and health education, under the supervision of the physician. - Assist in the dispensing of pharmaceutical, healthcare and parapharmaceutical products, informing users about their use, determining simple somatometric parameters, under the supervision of the physician. - Delve into the most suitable cosmetic products for each skin type. - Know skin care, as well as body treatments for the most common conditions. - Know general aspects about cosmetic treatments for hair and oral health. - Go deeper into makeup and protective cosmetics.
