- Promote an approach to the group of immigrant women as a population at risk of social exclusion, describing their situation and offering an analysis of the needs of immigrant women. - Enable an approach to the basic Legal Framework and the Public Equality Policies aimed at immigrant women that inspire the intervention. - Offer the methodological principles that inspire intervention with immigrant women. - Begin the design and planning of social intervention programs with immigrant women. - Provide instruments and techniques for intervention with this group. - Describe and approach the different areas of intervention with immigrant women: legal, social, health, educational, labor and gender violence. - Make an approach to the reality of cultural diversity. - Describe the key concepts involved in mediation processes. - Present the reality of the conflict and its resolution in the school environment for cultural reasons. - Describe the reality of intercultural mediation in the school environment and its procedural nature. - Present the figure of the mediator and his or her powers.
Social intervention with immigrants / Intercultural Mediation
It provides the necessary skills to carry out a diagnosis of the needs of immigrant women, and design and plan the intervention in the different areas that are required.
