Swimming monitor course + trainer of trainers (double degree with 5 ECTS credits)

Swimming is one of the "queen" sports, since most people without age limit can be practiced and contributes innumerable benefits for the body. To the advantages of practicing physical activity, we must add those of practicing it in the aquatic environment, in which because the severity is different, the activities have a low impact on the different parts of our body, reducing the tension in the bones and joints to the maximum. In addition, it is important to know that the changes in the world of work are demanding new training strategies and the renewal of didactic methodologies. Today, the initial formation is only the beginning of a whole way to go. Indeed, the permanent training of professionals is an indispensable requirement to deal with the demands and requirements of the work environment. This course has been created under this idea and aims to train teaching staff for the development of different training actions such as official continuous training plans, official non -regulated training or occupational professional training.

- Enter the history of swimming. - Know the development and different methodologies that can be used in swimming. - Learn the different approaches and applications of aquatic activities. - Know and put into practice some pedagogical considerations for swimming monitors. - Create educational aquatic activities. - Know the different basic techniques and styles most used in swimming. - Acquire knowledge regarding first aid and aquatic rescue. - Acquire the necessary capacities to perform teachers' functions in a private training or academy. - Acquire the pedagogical and didactic competences necessary for the design, planning, management and implementation of a training plan, both in the business field and in the unregulated official training.

This course is aimed at all those teachers of early childhood education, primary education, secondary education teachers, psychologists, pedagogues, psychopedagogues, etc. And, in general, any university degree, to all those people who are dedicated to the world of physical and sports activities or any person interested in training or exercising as a swimming monitor and performing their professional work in the teaching field.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
