This recognition depends exclusively on the Autonomous Community, which to assess the qualification of the technical manager in the manufacture of custom orthopedic products will apply the following criteria: to have a sanitary degree complemented with a formation of a minimum of 200 hours in the subjects taught in this university expert in orthopedics.

- Study the basic knowledge about anatomy, physiology, pathology and biomechanics of the locomotor apparatus and other systems and devices of the human body object of replacement or modification with orthopedic products. - Know the materials used in orthopedics. - Learn about the design, manufacture and tests of control of orthopedic products. - Organize and manage quality guarantee systems. - Know the orthopedics products and their applications. - Develop the basic concepts on taking measures, adaptation of products and patient care. - Know the legislation that affects the sector.

General access requirements: a) Being in possession of a Spanish university degree. b) Be in possession of a foreign title that is approved. c) Be in possession of a non -approved foreign title but that can be estimated at a level of an official Spanish university degree. d) Overcoming at least 180 ECTS credits of a university degree. e) Recognized and accredited professionals work and/or professional experience, related to the competencies inherent to the expert title. This expert in the technical direction of orthopedics is aimed at people who have a degree, diploma or bachelor's degree in any health career, who wants to work on behalf of others as a technical manager, or who wants to work on their own opening their own orthopedics and has to request the operating license to manufacture custom health products, as well as those who group different components of serial manufacturing for a specific patient.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
