Summary
This maintenance gymnastics monitor course offers specialized training in the field. Today society maintains a sedentary lifestyle, which is not healthy and produces a low physical condition, psychological overload and health problems. Maintenance gymnastics is a physical activity program that is aimed at the conservation and improvement of physical condition, reaching an optimal physical state (physical condition improvement, toning and coordination in a general way). On the other hand, physical activity, through a controlled and programmed physical exercise through maintenance gymnastics, will contribute to older people enjoying greater vitality and quality of life. The Spanish Fitness Federation accredits only the contents referring to physical activity, any mention to technical-tactical aspects is outside its competences and accreditation.

With the performance of the Maintenance Gymnastics Monitor Course, the necessary knowledge to develop maintenance gymnastics activities will be acquired, both for adults and elderly, combining different physical exercises aimed at improving the quality of life and well -being of the elderly and providing these criteria for the realization and/or rejection of a certain physical activity
Who is it addressed to?
The maintenance gymnastics monitor course is aimed at all those people who, either for professional reasons or personal interest, intend to acquire knowledge related to physical activity in adults and older people through maintenance gymnastics, as well as the improvement that such activity entails in these people.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.

Certification
Own Title of the University Course of Specialization in Gymnasium issued by the University of Vitoria-Gasteiz accredited with 10 university credits and accredited by the Spanish Fitness Federation (FEF) to which it will be able to access as a federated receiving a title of personal coach with a card of a personal coach, in addition to the end of the training, the student will become part of the Spanish registry of professionals of the exercise (esreps) Gather the exercise professionals, establishing a quality standard and a professional registration to guarantee a safe and effective advice from customers users of fitness facilities for qualified professionals.
