MF0111-3 course of molds and models

In the scope of mechanical manufacturing, it is necessary to know the different fields of the design of molds and models of foundry or forge, within the professional area mechanical production. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for technical documentation for molds and models.

- Define the molds or models, providing constructive solutions and determining the specifications, characteristics, disposition, dimensions and cost of components and sets complying with the rules for prevention of occupational hazards and the environment. - Perform the necessary technical calculations to dimension the molds and their auxiliary systems, based on established previous data. - Verify that the development of the project complies with design specifications, security directives and environmental protection standards. - Establish the trial plan that allows to verify the level of reliability of the product, complying with the rules for prevention of occupational hazards and the environment.

It exercises its activity in the specific industrial design area applied in the molds or models of casting, injection or forge. It works autonomously in small -sized companies and in simple projects, in medium or large companies, it depends on higher levels and works from preliminary drafts. This qualification is located in the electromechanical subsector being able to develop their work in smelting, injection and forging companies. Metal casting. Foundry in other materials. Forge stamping and dust metallurgy. Construction of machinery and mechanical equipment.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF0111_3 Development of molds and models, certifying having exceeded the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of mechanical manufacturing, specifically in design of molds and models of foundry or forges within the professional area mechanical production, and to all those people interested in providing the necessary knowledge for technical documentation for molds and models.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
