MF1541-3 Safety and Environmental Standards in Biotechnology

Within the world of chemistry, it is necessary to know the different fields in the biotechnological analysis, within the professional area of analysis and control. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to know the safety and environmental standards in biotechnology.

- Analyze safety measures related to risk prevention of biotechnological products and services. - Analyze the security measures related to the procedures and working methods of the activities related to biotechnology. - Analyze the systems, equipment and devices used to prevent the risk derived from the sequence of biotechnological operations, relating the systems and devices to the risk factors that affect them. - Analyze the necessary means for the observation of environmental protection measures. - Relate hygienic risk factors in facilities where biotechnological activities are carried out with their health effects and with detection and/or measure techniques and devices. - Apply response corrective actions in emergency situations in a biotechnological context.

It develops its professional activity in laboratories and/or companies for the development of products and/or biotechnological services of a public or private nature. Companies and entities of any productive sector that use biological systems and living organisms or their derivatives for the creation or modification of products or processes for specific uses. Laboratories that use biotechnologies or genetic material in their activity. Public Research Organizations.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF1541_3 Formative Module. Safety and Environmental Standards in Biotechnology Certifying having exceeded the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls They are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of chemistry, more specifically those linked to biotechnological analysis, within the professional area of analysis and control, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge with the safety and environmental standards in biotechnology.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
