Summary
The postmastectomy lymphedema course is a specialized training designed to provide health professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary for the management and treatment of lymphedema that can occur as a consequence of a mastectomy or breast surgery. Breast cancer is a very frequent pathological circumstance today. During this course, the theoretical and practical foundations of postmastectomy lymphedema are approached in depth, including its pathophysiology, diagnosis, prevention and therapeutic options. In addition, the most innovative and current tools will be studied to be able to treat this type of complication so common and relevant within the health field.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
