Summary

In work with children and adolescents, knowledge and training about the behaviors presented, facilitates the training and guidance work in the different situations that will be raised, even more, when referring to the disorder with the highest prevalence between the child-youth population, reaching 7% of this. The possibility of having specific resources for the work of those areas in which these types of individuals require greater action, such as the control of alternative impulse, attention and behavior patterns in the school and family field, will facilitate and accelerate the progress of integration and decrease in the symptomatology presented.

Goals

- Know the basic concepts and terminology related to this disorder to improve knowledge acquisition. - Differentiate between myths and realities from attention deficit disorder and hyperactivity. - Know the relevance of the changes produced during the different stages of life and its effects on the social, family and educational fields. - Know the main psychological evaluation tools used in the diagnosis of ADHD. - Implement intervention programs and strategies in the different areas of the child and adolescent.

Professional exits

Training of professionals belonging to different areas to understand the different psychosocial processes that take place in diagnosed individuals or with a possible diagnosis of ADHD. Specialization in work and intervention with children and adolescents with the disorder, as well as in work with families with one of its members diagnosed with it. Complement for people with training related to health sciences, education, training and sports whose work is linked to acting and work with children and adolescents.

To prepare you

This program aims to provide the student with technical, theoretical and practical training, necessary for work with children and adolescents with attention deficit disorder and hyperactivity, as well as the implementation of the main techniques and criteria used for the elaboration of a diagnosis. The student will learn to perform psychological assessments related to this disorder, as well as the performance of techniques oriented to intervention and guidance both in the educational and family environment.

Who is it addressed

Aimed at university degrees in the health branch, education and social sciences, parents and relatives of people diagnosed or aimed at a possible diagnosis of attention deficit disorder and hyperactivity, interested in acquiring and deepening the knowledge and tools of intervention in the different areas of action of the disorder. In general, in intervention in the classroom, in individual sessions and in the family and in general to all that person interested in deepening the knowledge related to ADHD and its implications in childhood and adolescence.

Official character

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
