Upper tourist guide course

A tourist guide is in charge of accompanying, guiding and attending a group of travelers both in the tour of the destination and in it, showing them and informing them about those relevant aspects of the area or tourist areas where the route is being made or the visit. In addition to adopting the necessary measures for the trip to develop according to the planned plans.

- Select, store and process information of interest on the local environment to publicize its tourist potential, adapting to the requirements and needs of customers and the objectives of the center or the planning of the destination. - Program and control the activities of a tourist information center to adapt them to the characteristics of the local environment and the demands of the clients and achieve the planned objectives. - Organize the necessary resources to carry out the provision of services of the Tourist Information Center, adapting to the different situations that may arise or the particular conditions of the local environment. - Attend and advise visitors and residents in the demands of information and in the formulation of complaints or claims, guaranteeing at all times the quality of the information provided. - Interpret oral messages of medium complexity in English, expressed by customers and suppliers at normal speed in the field of tourism activity, in order to provide adequate service, achieve customer satisfaction. - Communicate orally with spontaneity with one or more clients or suppliers in English, in the provision of tourist services.

Tourism / Tourism Guide.

This course is a continuous training aimed at the tourist guides who wish to be recycled as well as carry out continuous and/or specialization training deepening the new trends and protocols on tourism guides at the level of all of Europe.

To all those certified professional guides who wish to carry out recycling or specialization in this area, as well as those related to the tourist field as travel agents, advisors in tourism offices, etc. that without exercising as professional guides they want to have certain notions about the work carried out by a tour guide.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
