Basic Intervention Course in Child Disability (University degree + 4 ECTS credits)

The basic intervention in this type of scope is formed from a set of accompaniment techniques and strategies based on the theories of learning and evolutionary development to alleviate the disability that the minor possesses. The fundamental objective to achieve the purposes of this course in basic intervention in children's disability focuses on facilitating and optimizing the learning process through the development of cognitive and social skills and tools, as well as intervening with this type of population. You will also learn all the concepts related to the special educational needs of this group of students, as well as the role that families play in it.

Professional outputs of the course in basic intervention in children's disability are aimed at performing functions within educational centers of early, primary and secondary education, special education centers, special education associations, educational reinforcement, psychoeducational intervention and stimulation centers, also in children's clinical consultations, etc.

This course in basic intervention in children's disability will provide the student with the necessary knowledge that will allow him to carry out psychoeducational interventions in children who suffer from various disabilities, as well as his planning of action with the child's support network. In addition, it enables the student to assess the different realities of children from health, educational, family and social care.

This course in basic intervention in children's disability is aimed at professionals who wish to expand their training and apply early care techniques, as well as those responsible for detecting, evaluating and intervening in children with disorders and disabilities. Aimed at those students who are in the process of training in this area.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
