Family Mediation Expert course + 8 ECTS credits

In a context in which couple ruptures are frequent, this course aims to offer a theoretical and practical approach to the reality of family mediation. The training itinerary, from the current legislative framework, leads to an approach to the reality of conflict and mediation in the family field that enables to intervene as a mediator in different processes linked to the different lines of work: help in the conclusion of a relationship or in divorce processes. Through the theoretical-practical contents that are presented, the student will be able to acquire the necessary skills to provide this service.

-Capacitar to intervene in family mediation processes. -Free a general overview of the existing conflict situations in the family, as a context in which mediation processes are developed. -Ivocate family mediation processes on the horizon of the culture of peace, as a priority of the current moment. -Present the legislative framework on which family mediation processes are supported. -Describe the reality of the conflict and the factors that generate it in the family. -Free intervention guidelines to initiate a peaceful resolution of conflicts in the family. -Describe the processes of family mediation and the stages they include. -Draw the profile of the family mediator, describing the skills to be cultivated and the techniques you must know.

The course offers an approach to the practice of family mediation, from the knowledge of conflicts and the mediation process to intervene in different situations (reception, separation, divorce) using the skills and techniques that are required in a mediator.

Family Mediation experts, graduates and students of pedagogy, psychopedagogy, psychology, social work, social education, law, and all people who want to guide their professional career in this line of intervention, or improve their training in the field of family mediation.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
