MF0429_1: Furniture upholstery

In the field of the textile world, preparation and skin it is necessary to know the auxiliary operations of furniture and mural upholstery. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to know the furniture upholstery.

- Carry out and organize the work interpreting the upholstery order, in order to achieve the required quality, in the established time. - Prepare, adjust and readjust of the machines and tools, as well as their first level maintenance and, where appropriate, under the supervision of the person responsible and according to established procedures. - Perform the undressed or disassembled of the covers and the filling of upholstered structures, identifying the pieces and the order of extraction for use as a template and, where appropriate, under the supervision of the person responsible. - Mark and cut the pieces, as well as the necessary accessories, taking into account the characteristics of the materials, optimizing their use and, where appropriate, under the supervision of the person responsible. - Prepare the materials and assemble, by sewing or other union techniques, the pieces and accessories to obtain the upholstery with the planned quality and, where appropriate, under the supervision of the person responsible. - Perform the operations of the mounted upholstery according to the characteristics of each furniture and, where appropriate, under the supervision of the person responsible. - Act according to safety and health standards that affect your job and process.

Medium or small company or artisan workshop, autonomously or on behalf of others, dedicated to the upholstery of furniture and entertaining walls, ceilings and wall panels.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF0429_1 furniture upholstery certifying having overcome the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls The different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the textile world, clothing and skin specifically in auxiliary furniture and mural upholstery operations, and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to furniture upholstery.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
