MF1687-2 Course Preparation of handmade ceramic parts by manual modeling

In the field of arts and crafts, it is necessary to know the different techniques of determining artisanal pottery pieces from shapes, dimension and materials to be used in artisanal pottery. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to elaborate artisanal ceramic pieces by manual modeling.

- Prepare the pasta, manual or mechanically, getting a mass of uniform consistency for a piece modeling. - Develop ceramic objects using the rolls of rolls and plates from mud pellets previously prepared to proceed to its subsequent finish. - Develop ceramic objects with the lathe from mud pellets previously prepared to proceed to its subsequent finish. - Develop objects by calibrated with the lathe and terrajas from mud plates for the realization of serial pieces. - Develop ceramic parts by manual molding of plastic mass from mud pellets previously prepared for serial pieces. - Perform scanned, scraped, paleteados and the burnished of the surface of raw pieces, previously elaborated, according to the provisions of the elaboration plan for its finish and decoration. - Carry out the loading and download of the pieces in the dryer controlling the drying conditions to guarantee the quality of the product and the safety of the operations. - Order the modeling workshop and maintain the means of production to guarantee their operation and the quality of the product, respecting the rules on occupational hazards and environmental management.

He develops his professional activity on behalf of others, in artisanal and artistic companies and workshops, whether public or private, small, medium and large, related to the realization of artisanal pottery pieces, carrying out their work within the framework of the functions and objectives assigned by the upper or ceramist technician. You can also exercise as an independent or associated professional with other professionals.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF1687_2 Development of artisanal ceramic parts by manual modeling, certifying having overcome the different competition units in them included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which it will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective Calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of arts and crafts, specifically in the processes of determining artisanal pottery pieces based on forms, dimension and materials, and to all those interested in developing artisanal ceramic pieces by manual modeling.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
