Pedagogy Master: European Master in Pedagogy Sciences with 20 ECTS

The specialty of therapeutic pedagogy is dedicated to promoting attention and developing the prevention of specific educational support needs in students. This course offers a practical and educational vision of therapeutic pedagogy. Thanks to the realization of this Master in Pedagogy Sciences, it will be able to specialize in the Pedagogy Sciences and perform functions such as School Organization, Socio -educational care and Neuropiscology of Education.

- Train in neuropsychology applied to education to educational professionals, psychologists, psychopedagogues and educators - Provide new ways of knowledge of school age students - Enrich and update the neuroscience methodologies applied in the classroom to optimize school performance - Know the concept of organization and apply it to the school organization of educational centers. - Know what organizational theories can be found in educational centers, perspectives or paradigms in organization. - Apply in the educational center the structure of the education system established by current legislation. - Know the metaphors and models of the educational center. - Develop an educational project taking into account the characteristics of the educational center and the context in which it is wrapped. - Deepen the elements that are part of the school organization such as management, teachers, students, space and school time. - Know what the educational inspection consists of and how the evaluation of schools is carried out. - Know the different profiles of minors, attending to their needs and promoting the satisfaction of their rights. - Identify the different situations of risk and social difficulty faced by minors. - Analyze the risk factors of adolescents regarding violence and drugs. - Study the different educational styles and models of families. Acquire the necessary knowledge for socio -educational care in the process of residential foster care of minors at social risk and helplessness. - Prepare and explain the development of socio -educational projects. - Know the evolution of special education in recent decades. - Learn the different concepts of needs that have emerged throughout the time and know how to differentiate them. - Know the identification and assessment process of educational needs. - To guide both students, family and other professionals in the educational process. - Know what types of educational response can students be offered both at the center, classroom, etc. - Knowing how to intervene with students who present specific educational support needs. - Describe and contextualize different concepts related to tutoring and school orientation. - Analyze the different organizational and functional models of educational orientation. - Identify both guidance departments, as well as educational and psychopedagogical orientation equipment. - Assess educational orientation as a basic responsibility and activity in education. - Understand the meaning of tutoring as a fundamental element in the teaching function. - Analyze the instruments and different tutorial action techniques. - Acquire knowledge about the organization of special education, as well as individualized psychopedagogical orientation to students and vocational-professional guidance. - Organize the Tutorial Orientation and Action Plan (POAT).

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
