Today, snail consumption has increased considerably worldwide. Normally, the snails were captured in their natural habitat, but due to their great demand and the exhaustion of this species because their period of reproduction is not respected, intensive snail breeding system has been carried out. The present Caracoles Breeding course has as its main objective to provide the necessary knowledge about the breeding of snails in farms and heliciculture ships, so in the present course the main breeding systems, the diseases and parasites that can affect the farms and the current legislation on the livestock farms will be studied.
