Aware of the importance of adequate nutrition in the achievement of an improvement in the performance and health of the athlete, this course of sports nutrition expert is configured as a practical and effective tool to specialize health professionals in one of the profiles with more future and demand in today Exercise due nutritional advice in athletes and physically active persons to achieve optimal health states and positive results in sports and sports aesthetics.

- Know the fundamental principles of sports nutrition and its effects on the performance of the athlete. - Study the needs of nutrients, sources and their recommendations for the different sports modalities to optimize performance. - Perform nutritional interventions and dietary advice in athletes and in physical persons. - Prepare menus adapted to special needs. - Optimize the energy of sports practice through food. - Study of systemic adaptations to the different sports manifestations.

Dietitian-Nutritionist in sports entities and clubs, as well as for amateur and independent athletes. Perfect complement for people with university careers related to health and sports sciences.

This sports nutrition course aims to provide the student with a complete technical and theoretical training based on the main sciences related to nutrition and its influence on sports, such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry,… etc., being able to apply this discipline to the different casuistics that the sports context itself printed to achieve the optimal performance of athletes and athletes.

Aimed at university degrees in the health and sports branch interested in directing their professional career towards the development of one of the most future professions: dietitian-nutritionist. In general, all those interested in training in the field of dietary and nutrition, with special interest in sports.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
