UF1455 Course Preparation of Graphic Design Projects

The support of a book, a poster, a brochure or a triptych is very important, since it represents the first impression that we take of them, and what will lead us to interest ourselves or not to deepen the information and content of said material. Therefore, it is essential that the companies in charge in the graphic design of these products know how to develop graphic projects based on its initial specifications. This is achieved by preparing sketches, selecting and adapting color, images and typographic sources, creating graphic elements, models and final arts, using computer tools, making budgets based on the characteristics of the project and verifying the quality of the finished product. With this course the recipient will be able to acquire knowledge about the preparation of graphic design projects.

- Prepare the instructions for the creation of graphic products from the commission of alleged customers. - Identify the technical parameters for the elaboration of graphic products. - Prepare graphic project budgets, duly characterized, planning, valuing costs and times.

He develops his professional activity in graphic design departments in large, medium and small graphic arts, publishers and communication companies. Also, in graphic and press design studies, whether periodic or non -periodic. The activity is developed both on their own and of others.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the UF1455 training unit preparation of graphic design projects, certifying having overcome the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is generally directed for graphic arts, publishers and communication companies, specifically within the professional area of graphic and multimedia design, and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the preparation of graphic design projects.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
