UF1854 Network Monitoring and Incident Resolution

In the field of computer science and communications, it is necessary to know the different fields of the management and supervision of alarms in communications networks, within the professional area communications. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to monitor the State and the availability of the communications network and the services implemented, more specifically on network monitoring and incident resolution.

- Describe the topologies of the different communications networks and the elements that form the network map to perform the monitoring and maintenance processes. - Identify monitoring techniques and tools and integrate communications equipment into the network map, to supervise their status and detect possible alarms, following the established procedures. - Describe the techniques and procedures for the resolution of network incidents and communications systems, and resolve them to ensure their operation, taking into account technical specifications.

It develops its professional activity in public or private companies or entities, both on their own and on behalf of others, of any size, that have communications network infrastructure and offer communications services, in the networks of supervision of networks and support for customers.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the UF1854 Formative Unit Net Publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of computer science and communications specifically in management and supervision of alarms in communications networks within the professional area communications and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to network monitoring and incident resolution.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
