University course in garden design: garden design (university degree with 5 ECTS credits)

Within the care of gardens and other decorated areas, it is necessary to know the different aspects that can be worked from the design of gardens. Thus, this course is intended to provide the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to carry out a good garden design.

- Knowing how to determine the type of plants and the most appropriate design in relation to the previous study in the elaboration of the design of a garden. - Know the aspects to consider in the design and construction of the garden. - Determine what type of architectural elements are the most appropriate for each garden. - Point out the characteristics present in an ecological garden. - Consider the contribution of land, gravels, etc., as a decorative element in the garden.

This training is focused to obtain the necessary knowledge, capacities and skills in relation to the design of gardens. Thus, after the performance of the course, the corresponding accreditation will be obtained in order to develop the professional work of garden design.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
