Veterinary and operating room emergency course (university degree + 8 ECTS credits)

This course in veterinary and operating rooms offers you a specialized training in the field. Veterinary care constitutes a work environment in growing expansion. The proliferation of pets and the increase in systematic care (nutrition, vaccines, sterilization, monitoring, disease prevention) implies a growing demand for specialists in this area. This course in veterinary and operating room urgencies enables to be able to carry out the work in the emergency room and in the operating room of veterinary centers.

- Apply storage, distribution and stock control techniques identifying those that allow the operability of the operating room. - Describe the material for the realization of a surgical intervention detailing its functions. - Learn the surgical preparation of the animal following standardized protocols. - Apply assistance techniques during a surgical intervention of an animal following standardized protocols. - Differentiate emergency and emergency situations describing the actions of response to them. - Learn to develop the cleaning, disinfection and sterilization procedures of operating rooms and surgical material with authorized biocidal products for this purpose, determining the method to be applied according to the type of material.

This course in veterinary and operating room urgencies is aimed at university degrees in veterinary, or any person who wants to expand the knowledge related to the content of the course.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
