Wireless network supervision course: UF2184 Local and Metropolitan Area Wireless Networks Supervision

In the field of computer science and communications, it is necessary to know the different second level maintenance fields in radiocommunications systems, within the professional area communications. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to organize and manage the commissioning and maintenance of local and metropolitan area wireless networks, more specifically on the supervision of wireless networks of local and metropolitan area.

- Identify the services offered by the network and explain the quality parameters that are applicable to determine the requirements of each of them, taking into account functional specifications. - Describe situations that can degrade the performance of the wireless network, such as an excessive number of users, electromagnetic interference, poorly configured equipment or decreased signal/noise ratio, taking into account technical specifications. - Evaluate radio exploration measures to detect or prevent incidents that affect the coverage area and the quality of the service, and to maintain compliance with radio security regulations. - Describe characteristics and functionalities of the supervision tools of local and metropolitan area wireless networks, taking into account technical specifications.

It develops its professional activity in public or private companies or entities, of any size, both on their own and on behalf of others, that have communications network infrastructure and offer communications services.

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the UF2184 Training Unit Supervision of wireless and metropolitan area wireless networks certifying having overcome the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that they publish the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of computer science and communications specifically in second level maintenance in radiocommunications systems within the professional communications area and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the supervision of wireless networks of local and metropolitan area.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
