Summary

One of the social problems that have had the greatest relevance in the 80s and 90s and has generated more social mobilization and response from institutions, has to do with the consumption of psychoactive substances, many of them unknown to our culture (heroin, cocaine, ecstasy ...) others not so much (tobacco, alcohol ...). The context in which social problems arise, and their characteristics require broad, global and interdisciplinary training that allows training for the analysis and understanding of these phenomena, in the face of a professional intervention according to professional principles.

Goals

- Explain to the in -depth student the issue of drug dependence, so that through their learning you are trained to develop action and intervention measures. - Know the phenomenon of drug addiction in depth, as well as the risk and protection factors that surround it learning to neutralize some and to enhance others. - Know the different types of addictive substances and their effects on the body. - Offer the theoretical and methodological bases to develop preventive work and design specific actions in different fields. - Promote among students the rejection of drugs and the acceptance of alternative roads for leisure and socialization.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
