Summary
Every editorial process begins with planning. Thus, before starting any action related to editorial management, it is essential to determine and set a series of indicators and guidelines to be followed to launch the planning process, the establishment of objectives or goals to be achieved being especially important. In this way, planning becomes a key piece for the process of editing a work. Equally important is the adequacy of such planning to the demands and characteristics of the editorial market, thus guaranteeing the quality of editorial products and favoring the balance between creativity and profitability. Throughout the present training module, students can study in depth the planning process and implementation of editorial management, based on existing market characteristics. For this, the phases that make up the planning and regulations that underlie it are analyzed. In addition, to analyze the market characteristics, the different units that make up this module provide information on the necessary tools and techniques to achieve the maximum profitability of the editorial product.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF0931_3 Management and Planning Editorial Module Certifying having exceeded the different Competition Units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls The different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).
