Genus equality prevention course: Specialist in detection and prevention in situations of gender equality

In the field of sociocultural and community services, it is necessary to know the different fields of promotion for the effective equality of women and men, within the professional area of training and education. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the analysis and detection of gender violence and the processes of attention to women in situations of violence.

- Determine mechanisms that allow detecting, in an intervention environment, situations of violence that affect women and their offspring, including trafficking and traffic for sexual exploitation. - Point out the accompaniment to a victim of violence against women on the first visit to a specialized service that guarantees the avoidance of secondary victimization processes. - Analyze awareness and preventive actions to be implemented to avoid that situations of violence against women occur or aggravated from participation in an intervention team. - Determine useful and proven information collection processes that allow the diagnosis of situations of discrimination due to sex. - Identify the reproduction of sexist and discriminatory stereotypes in language, in the treatment of images and in situations raised. - Assess levels and types of participation of the recipient population, in the different areas where people's lives develop: economic, political, associative, leisure and quality of life, among others, disaggregating data by sex. - Identify key elements of inequality between women and men triggered from situations of violence against women in the intervention environment.

It develops its professional activity on behalf of others in the public and private sphere, in collaboration with the intervention team and from the direct supervision of the competent person of higher level. Likewise, it detects situations of inequality and the needs derived from it, organizing and transferring the relevant information in the subject of their specialty, both to the reference population and to higher level professionals, to promote and guide actions in the field of effective equality of women and men, and prevent discrimination of the female population.

This course prepares you to form about the analysis and detection of gender violence and women's care processes in situations of violence.

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of sociocultural services and the community, specifically in the promotion for the effective equality of women and men, within the professional area of training and education, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge related to the application of basic concepts of gender theory and non -sexist language.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
