MF0266-3 course promotion and sale of tourist services

Tourism has evolved to the same extent that economic, political and social development has done so. Today the tourist consumes various types of tourism such as: urban, cultural, health, sun and beach tourism, cruises, ecotourism, nautical, adventure and safaris, religious, etc. which have appeared following the demands and frequent uses of their customers. In this sense, the promotion and sale of tourist services has also evolved and continues in the process of permanent change since they have to be in continuous recycling because it is important to adapt to change, social demand and new expectations. This course will provide the student with the necessary knowledge to be able to sell tourist services and trips.

- Analyze the evolution of the concept of tourism. - Analyze the tourism market. - Analyze the tourist distribution and entities and means that configure it. - Analyze the commercial, operational and contractual relations of travel and tour agencies with different tourist service providers. - Analyze information, advice and sale processes. - Develop sales processes and transport reserves, combined trips, excursions and transfers and apply established procedures - Develop promotional actions applicable in travel agencies and describe and apply sales and negotiation promotion techniques. - Use computer supports for usual use in the sector. - Apply communication and customer service techniques and customer service in tourist establishments.

Carries out its activity in productive units of travel agencies and other entities dedicated to tourist distribution (reservation centrals, distribution systems, representatives of service provisions, etc.), both at the level of contact personnel and in supervision positions.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF0266_3 promotion and sale of tourist services, certifying having exceeded the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

In general, to all those people who are interested in knowing the skills and attitudes they must have to exercise this profession.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
