MF1970-2 Basic Management Course of Occupational Risk Prevention in the field of forest fire prevention and fire

In the field of safety and environment, it is necessary to know the different fields within the coordination of operations in forest fires and support for contingencies in the natural and rural environment, within the professional area of security and prevention. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the basic management of occupational risk prevention in the field of forest fire prevention and extinction.

- Apply verification procedures for the effectiveness of activities aimed at the promotion, motivation and awareness of workers, in the integration of preventive action in accordance with the regulations in the field of prevention and extinction of forest fires. - Determine effective preventive actions linked to order, cleaning, signaling and general maintenance in the field of forest fire prevention and extinction. - Apply elementary evaluation techniques of risks linked to the general and specific working conditions of the field of prevention and extinction of forest fires - Relate the general and specific risk assessment and control actions of the scope of the prevention and extinction of forest fires with preventive measures established in prevention plans and applicable regulations.

It develops its professional activity in forest fire extinction services as a worker dependent on public administrations, as well as in public and private companies dedicated to agroforestry and environmental work, at the head of an intervention unit and in collaboration with other intervention units and/or operational civil protection groups, under the supervision of a responsible superior. Collaborates in the prevention of risk of its scope of responsibility, being able to perform the basic function of occupational risk prevention.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF1970_2 management at the basic level of the prevention of occupational hazards in the field of forest fire prevention and extinction, certifying having exceeded the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and of the non -formal training experience, by which it will Obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals from the world of safety and environment, more specifically those linked to the coordination of operations in forest fires and support for contingencies in the natural and rural environment, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge related to the management of occupational hazards.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
