Technical Course in Occupational Risk Prevention for Firefighters

At present, there have been many advances that have occurred from the security forces and specifically for firefighters, but even so, too many accidents are produced, especially due to employment, poorly protected machines, which do not exist or do not follow the safe work instructions and that insecure behaviors are produced by the personnel that handle them. The main objective of this course is to facilitate the student the necessary knowledge to avoid all types of risk, as well as act in the most appropriate way in case of accident, thus offering the keys to carrying out the prevention of risk and occupational accidents for firefighters.

- Develop in the students those necessary competences to exercise the functions of technician in prevention of occupational hazards for firefighters. - Acquire the knowledge that allows students to identify, avoid, correct and prevent specific problems that can jeopardize the health and integrity of workers in the fire sector. - Know the laws and norms in terms of occupational risk prevention based on the Occupational Risk Prevention Law. - Analyze the different action plans, prevention and first aid techniques that favor or help overcome different risk situations.

Prepare as a technician in occupational risk prevention according to current regulations (Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs). At the end of the training action, the student will have the basic knowledge of Occupational Health and Risk Prevention and will be qualified to perform the preventive functions collected in Art. 35 of the R.D. 39/1997, according to the Regulation of Prevention Services.

This course of technician in Occupational Risk Prevention for Firefighters is directed for firefighters or students for the Fire Department who want to form in occupational risk prevention.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
