AGA488_3: AGA488_3 COURSE Assistance to clinical care in veterinary centers (complete professional qualification)

Veterinary care constitutes a work environment in growing expansion. The proliferation of pets and the increase in systematic care (nutrition, vaccines, sterilization, monitoring, disease prevention) implies a growing demand for specialists in this area. The veterinary clinic assistant has become a professional field that claims a specialization. The training that we offer will provide the student with the professional competences necessary to be able to serve clients and attend the clinical attention of animals in the consultation, operating room, hospitalization, broadcastic and analysis laboratory, complying with technical-sanitary standards of quality and safety and hygiene, under the supervision of the option.

The objectives to be achieved with this ATV Course are the following: - Serve customers and collaborate in sales and administration operations in veterinary centers - Collect animal biological samples and perform laboratory analysis - Apply auxiliary veterinary care in the clinical consultation - perform support work in the operating room of veterinary centers - attend to hospitalization of animals collaborating with the option

After carrying out this ATV course, it develops your professional activity in the health sector working in veterinary centers (offices, clinics and veterinary hospitals). You can exercise your functions in the areas of sale, reception and hospitalization, clinical analysis laboratory, consultation, operating room and X -ray room. Work in associations, organizations or animal welfare institutions. In addition, you can also develop professionally in public and research public agencies or institutions: veterinary faculties, animal centers and hospitals, among others.

The training that we offer will provide the student with the professional competences necessary to be able to serve clients and attend the clinical attention of animals in the consultation, operating room, hospitalization, broadcastic and analysis laboratory. Complying with technical-sanitary standards of quality and safety and hygiene, under the supervision of the optional. This training conforms to the training itinerary of the AGA488_3 Certificate of Professionalism_3 Assistance to Clinical Care in Veterinary Centers, certifying having exceeded the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of professional competences acquired through work experience and non -formal training. Via for which it will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This ATV course is aimed at all those who want to develop their professional activity in the health sector in veterinary centers (offices, clinics and veterinary hospitals). And more specifically to all those who, being active, want to complete and improve their training.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
