AGAH0108 Horticulture and Floriculture Course (full professional certificate)

In the field of the agrarian world it is necessary to know the different herbaceous crops. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the preparation of the land, planting and transplantation in horticultural crops and cut flowers, cultural operations and collection in horticultural crops and cut flowers, phytosanitary control and mechanization and agricultural facilities.

- Perform the preparation work of the planting and/or transplant land in horticultural or cut flower crops. - Perform cultivation, collection, transport and storage operations of horticultural crops and cut flowers. - Control pests, diseases, weeds and pathophysiopathies. - Manage tractors and assemble agrarian facilities, performing maintenance.

It develops its professional activity in the production area of large, medium and small public or private companies, both on their own and on their own, dedicated to the horticultural crop or the production of cut flowers. Likewise, it is trained to perform pesticide treatments with a qualified level, according to the activity regulated by the corresponding regulations.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the Certificate of Professionalism AGAH0108 Horticulture and Floriculture certifying having overcome the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at agricultural professionals, specifically in the area of horticulture and floriculture, and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the preparation of the land, planting and transplantation in horticultural crops and cut flowers, with cultural operations and collection in horticultural crops and cut flowers, with phytosanitary control and with agricultural mechanization and facilities.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
