In addition, you will train in safe immobilization and manipulation procedures, as well as in the prevention of occupational hazards. To prepare you
The Wild Animal, Zoos and Aquarium Care Course enables you to maintain facilities and enclosures in optimal conditions, ensuring hygiene and pest control. You will learn to manipulate and prepare adequate diets, record food incidents and apply euthanasia humanitarian methods when necessary. In addition, you will develop environmental enrichment programs and training techniques to improve animal welfare. You will also acquire skills in capture, immobilization and prevention of occupational hazards, guaranteeing the safety of both animals and yours. This course is complementary and does not enable for professional practice. This training is adjusted to the itinerary of the Agan Professional Certificate0312 Wild Animals, Zoos and Aquariums, certifying having exceeded the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).
Who is it addressed to?
The course of wild animals, zoos and aquariums is aimed at professionals and graduates of the sector that wish to expand or update their knowledge in areas such as maintenance of facilities, food and environmental enrichment of wild animals. It is not enabling for professional practice.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
